17. FPV operation

a) General information
The quadrocopter is equipped as standard with a HD camera, which can transmit live video to a suitable smartphone
(not included in delivery). The recording of images or videos, as well as the control of the camera, is controlled by an
app installed on your smartphone. Pictures or videos can be stored on your smartphone and can be processed from
there. The live broadcast makes a so-called "FPV operation" (FPV = first person view) possible.
Attention!
A pure FPV operation increases the risk of accidents because you may not see obstacles or may not see
them in time due to the restricted camera image. Therefore, as a general rule, an FPV operation must be
monitored by a co-pilot who can warn of dangers in good time. It therefore requires a lot of practice to fly
in FPV operation. During the learning phase in particular make sure that the selected flight area is free of
obstacles and far away from people, animals, buildings and roads.
To ensure an interference-free transmission of video signals, there should be no other transmitters in the model's
2.4 GHz transmission range nearby. The smartphone's "Bluetooth
Respect other people's privacy when storing image and video. The recordings are only intended for your private use.
For publication in any form may, the consent of the owner or any people in the recordings may be required. Always
observe the applicable regulations and laws applicable in your country.

b) Loading the app

For FPV operation, you must first install a special app on your smartphone. The only costs incurred will be the normal
costs incurred through downloading. The app itself is free.
Scan one of the following pictured QR codes depending on your smartphone's operating system (Android or iOS).
By scanning the QR code, you will be automatically re-directed to the current version of the app. Alternative you can
search for the app "FPV-ALT" in Google Play (for Android operating systems) or in the Apple Store (for iOS).
