8. Setting up the remote control
The numbers used in these instructions refer to the illustration alongside the text or the illustrations within
the respective section. Cross references to other figures are indicated with the corresponding number.
The pictures of the remote control and drone in this manual are provided for reference purposes only. The stickers,
design and colour scheme may differ from those in the pictures.
a) Inserting the batteries
4 AAA batteries are required to power the remote control.
For safety reasons and to ensure a longer battery life, do not use rechargeable batteries to power the
remote control.
To insert the batteries, proceed as follows:
Loosen the screws from the battery compartment covers on the back of the remote control, and then remove the
battery compartment covers.
Insert the batteries into the battery compartments. Pay attention to the polarity markings to ensure that the batteries
are inserted in the correct polarity.
Replace the battery compartment covers and tighten the screws.
b) Switching on the remote control
Press the on/off button (9) to turn on the remote control.
The red LED indicator (14) will flash.
Note: The LED indicator on the remote control will stay constant when the remote control is connected to the drone.
Important!
The remote control beeps continuously when the batteries are low. To ensure you do not lose contact with the drone,
replace the batteries immediately.
