e) Inserting the flight battery

The flight battery (1) is slid into the battery bay from behind
as shown in the adjacent photograph.
Make sure that you do not tilt the battery and slide the bat-
tery in far enough for the upper latch (2) and the lower latch
(3) to cleanly snap into place.
When correctly installed, there is no gap between the bat-
tery and the quadrocopter's housing.
To remove the battery again, press down on the two cor-
rugated surfaces (4 and 5) and gently pull the battery back-
wards out of the bay.
Practical tips
If you press gently on the two corrugated areas when slid-
ing the battery in, the battery locks into place more easily.
Important!
When you are not using the quadrocopter, e.g.
during transport and storage, always remove
the battery from the bay.
