Residual risks
There will always be residual risks
even if you operate this device ac-
cording to the instructions. The fol-
lowing hazards may occur in connec-
tion with the type and design of this

• Eye damage if no suitable eye pro-
tection is worn.

• Health injuries resulting from the
effect of hand/arm vibration in the
event that the tool is used over a
longer period of time or is not used

Attaching the tubular shaft
Notes
• Before mounting, remove the pro-
tective cap(s) from the front tubular
shaft (2).
• Tighten the wing nut (3) until you
cannot feel any more play on the
front tubular shaft (2)! Applying
maximum manual force will dam-
age the tubular shaft.
Procedure (Fig. A)
1. Undo the wing nut (3).
2. Pull the lock (8) outward and turn
the lock left or right as far as it
goes.
3. Slide the front tubular shaft (2)
onto the tubular shaft on the gear-
box housing (4).
4. Pull the lock (8) outward and turn
the lock back to its original posi-
tion.
