be used with tap water provided by the

waterworks. This mains water fulfils

the statutory requirements of drinking

water quality.

In the event that public authorities

request that the mains water must

be boiled, this also applies to BRITA

filtered water.

Once the request has ended, the inlet

water filter must be replaced and the

connections cleaned. Please contact
customer service for this purpose (see
rear page).
Location
Caution:
Make sure that the device is
always sufficiently ventilated. Never
obstruct or block the ventilation slots
or cooling fins. Do not cover lateral
openings of the device. Always keep
the distance to walls and other ob-
jects as described in the information
sheet delivered by the manufacturer.
Do not place any objects on top of the
device on account of uprising heat.
The water dispenser may not be
installed near direct or indirect heat
sources. Hoses and cables must not
come into contact with heat sources.
The CO
bottle must be placed

as far as possible from any heat
sources and the ambient tempera-
ture should not exceed 32 °C.
To relocate the installed device,
please contact customer service
(see rear page). Any relocation must
be carried out by a qualified person
and documented in the log book.

Storage
Store the water dispenser in the
following conditions:
• Do not store outdoors.
• Store in a dry, frost- and dust-free
location.
• Do not expose to any aggressive
media.
• Avoid mechanical shocks.
• If storing for over 3 months, regularly
check the general condition of all
parts and of the packaging.
• Store and use vertically.
