Safety instructions
The safety equipment installed
in the device is listed below.
Aquastop
The aquastop is located between
the water shut-off valve and the
water supply of the water dis-
penser. A sensor inside detects
the quantity of water passing
through. When the registered
amount exceeds 10 litres of con-
tinuous flow, the aquastop valve
automatically shuts off the water
supply.

CO
pressure regulator and
2
pressure relief valve
The CO
pressure regulator is
2
mounted on the CO
bottle. The
2
mounted manometer indicates
the applied CO
pressure in
2
bars.
The left manometer 1 indicates
the CO
pressure and the filling
2
level of the CO
bottle.
2
The right manometer 3 indicates
the CO
pressure applied to the
2
appliance. The optimum setting
is 4.5 bar / 0.45 MPa.
For additional safety, the CO
2
pressure regulator has a pres-
sure relief valve 2.
Water pressure regulator
According to DIN EN 1717 the
water dispenser is installed with
a water pressure regulator and a
controllable backflow preventer.
The water pressure regulator
reduces the inlet water pressure.
The water pressure regulator is
preset to 4 bar / 0.4 MPa. This
pressure must not be changed
without authorisation.
Affixed labels and notices
Danger of illegible labelling!
Over time, stickers and signs may
become dirty or indecipherable
for other reasons, meaning that
dangers are not recognised and
necessary operating instructions
cannot be followed. There is
danger of injury as a result.
• Always keep all safety, warn-
ing and operating instructions
clearly legible.
• Replace damaged signs or
stickers immediately.
Spare parts
The use of incorrect spare parts
and filters can cause damages
and malfunctions of the water
dispenser.
• Only use original spare parts
and filters from BRITA SE or
spare parts and filters ap-
proved by BRITA SE. The de-
vice must be connected to the
water supply using new pipes
only. Old hoses must never be
reused.
• Never attempt the unau-
thorised repair of the water
dispenser.
• For repair work, which may
only be carried out by qualified
persons, contact customer
services (see rear page).
A list of the original spare parts
is available from the manufactur-
er, customer services or special
retailer.
Endangerment of the environ-
ment from improper handling
of environmentally hazardous
substances!
The improper handling of en-
vironmentally hazardous sub-
stances, particularly improper
disposal, can lead to substantial
damage to the environment.
• Always follow the notes stated
below for the handling of envi-
ronmentally hazardous sub-
stances and their disposal.
• If environmentally hazardous
substances are unintentionally
released in the environment,
immediately implement the
appropriate measures. In case
of doubt, inform the responsi-
ble local authorities about the
damages and inquire about
suitable measures to be taken.
The following environmentally
hazardous substances are used:
Refrigerants could contain
poisonous and environmentally
hazardous substances. They
must not be allowed to be re-
leased in the environment. The
disposal must be implemented
by a professional waste dis-
posal operation. In the event of
damages to the cooling system,
immediately contact customer
service (see rear page).
