4. Intended Use

The product mainly serves access protection of doors (e.g. to an office) or activation/deactivation
of an alarm system. Control is possible either via a 4- to 8-digit number code and/or via suitable
transponders.
As a special feature, the product has two outputs; Up to 1000 users can be saved for output #1
and up to 100 users for output #2.
Furthermore, 50 visitor codes can be saved that can be used either as a one-time code or for
a specific period.
The code lock must only be operated with direct voltage at 12 V/DC.
The product is suitable for indoor and outdoor use due to its build (IP65).
The flat build permits assembly even in many difficult installation spaces, since only a hole is
required for the connection cable, but no housing cut-out or recessed housing.
The code lock also has a sabotage contact; this permits evaluation of manipulation attempts
via an alarm system.
For reasons of safety, you must not convert and/or change the product. Using the product for any
other purposes than those described above may damage the product. Improper use also may cause
dangers such as short circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. Read the operating instructions precisely and
keep them. Only pass the product on to any third parties together with the operating instructions.
