8. Commissioning

The master code is always needed to start programming. In the basic settings, the
master code is "0000"; it must be changed in any case for regular operation of the
code lock.
Important!
If you have forgotten the master code programmed by you, proceed as described in
chapter 8. b).
Attention!
The master code and the user codes can have 4 to 8 digits, and mixed lengths are
possible.
However, if you switch on the "Auto-Entry" function (see chapter 11. m), all codes must
have the same length (e.g. master code 5 digits, user codes 5 digits). The reason for
this is that the code input does not need to be confirmed with the button
"Auto Entry" function is on.

a) Commissioning without DAP Code

If you have forgotten the master code, proceed as described in chapter 8. b).
• To complete installation (see chapter 7) switch on the operating voltage.
• The LED (1) at the upper left of the code lock flashes and the piezo buzzer emits beeps for
one minute.
The code lock is in a special mode during this time, in which you can enter the DAP
code (see chapter 8. b) if you have forgotten the master code.
• If you have not forgotten the master code and do not want to wait for a minute until the beeps
stop on their own, enter the following code:
• The code lock emits two beeps and is then in regular operation. The LED (1) at the upper left
is flashing slowly.
• You can now start programming, see chapter 11.
