b) Using the Code Lock

After completion of the example programming described in chapter 12. a), the code lock is ready
for operation. The LED (1) at the upper left of the code lock flashes slowly (orange) and displays
regular operation. The code lock is waiting for the code input or a transponder.
The output #1 (and the door opener connected there) can only be activated by the three users.
User #1 wants access via his transponder
• Hold the transponder before the sensor surface at the bottom of the code lock. The distance
between the transponder and the sensor surface must be less than 2 cm.
• If a valid transponder has been recognised, the code lock will switch the output #1 for a duration
of 3 seconds. The code lock will emit a long beep and the right LED is lit for 3 seconds.
• After the end of the 3 seconds, output #1 will be switched off again and the right LED will go
out.
• The code lock is back in regular operation (the left LED (1) flashes slowly orange) and is waiting
for a code input or a transponder.
User #2 wants access via his user code
• Enter the user code

• If a valid user code has been recognised, the code lock will switch the output #1 for a duration
of 3 seconds. The code lock will emit a long beep and the right LED is lit for 3 seconds.
• After the end of the 3 seconds, output #1 will be switched off again and the right LED will go
out.
• The code lock is back in regular operation (the left LED (1) flashes slowly orange) and is waiting
for a code input or a transponder.
User #3 wants access via his transponder and the secondary code
• Hold the transponder before the sensor surface at the bottom of the code lock. The distance
between the transponder card and the sensor surface must be less than 2 cm.
• If a valid transponder has been recognised, the code lock will emit 2 beeps and the left LED
will flash quickly.
