12. Programming Example

For easier understanding, we would like to provide a programming example in this chapter. We
will assume that you are using the code lock as an additional control for the door opener of a
residential building.
One person (= "User") is to gain access via a user code, one person only via a transponder. A
third person will gain access via a transponder with additional secondary code.
The duration for activation of the door opener connected to output #1 is to be reduced from 5
seconds (default setting) to 3 seconds.
Since the automatic access mode is not to be used (see chapter 11. m), the master code, user
code and secondary code may each have 4 to 8 digits.

a) Programming

Switching on the voltage/current supply
• After the code lock has been connected to the voltage/current supply, it will emit beeps for 1
minute. During this time, it is in a special mode in case you have forgotten the master code.
On this, observe chapter 8.
• If you have not forgotten the master code and do not want to wait for a minute until the beeps
stop on their own, enter the following code:
• The code lock emits two beeps and is then in regular operation. The LED (1) at the upper left
flashes slowly (orange).
Entering the master code (default factory setting "0000")
• Enter the master code via the numeric keys and briefly push the star button twice.
If you have programmed a different master code, you must of course enter that one
instead of the (no longer present) default setting "0000".
• The code lock emits two beeps and the LED (1) at the upper left of the code lock is permanently
lit (orange).
Programming mode is active.
