INTENDED USE

This device is intended for non-invasive measurement of systolic and diastolic blood pressure and heart rate in adults and ad-
olescents over 12 years of age using the oscillometric method. The device is not intended for use on infants and children. The
device is designed for home or clinical use. All functions can be used safely and values can be read out in one LCD DISPLAY.
Measurement position is on adult upper arm only. This device is intended for patients. Also, the intended users (also called
operators) are doctors, nurses or care-givers.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

- The cuff should not be applied over damaged skin.

SIDE EFFECTS

- Individuals with serious circulation problems may experience discomfort.
- Too frequent measurements can cause injury to the patient due to blood flow interference.
- Prolonged over-inflation of the cuff may cause bruising of the arm.
- DO NOT attach the arm cuff to a limb being used for IV infusions or any other intravascular access, therapy or an arteriove-
nous (AV) shunt. The cuff inflation can temporarily block blood flow, potentially causing harm to the patient.
