4. Getting started
Before first use, it is important you do the following to ensure optimal performance of the breast
pump and safety for you and your baby:
- Charge the breast pump - chapter 5.
- Disassemble the breast pump - chapter 6.
- Select the correct breast shield size - chapter 7.

- Clean the motor unit by wiping - chapter 8.
- Wash and boil the parts (except for the motor unit) - chapter 8.
- Assemble the breast pump - chapter 9.
5. Charging the breast pump
1. Charge the breast pump for one hour prior to first use.
2. When fully charged, disconnect the power cable and close the charging port.
NOTICE
" Never charge the breast pump with a damaged USB power cable.
" Do not charge the breast pump with the milk in the container.
" Do not charge the breast pump while wearing the device in bra.
" Make sure the voltage of the power adaptor is compatible with the power source.

" The breast pump cannot be turned on or operated when connected to the power adaptor.
" Charging is also possible when the breast pump is disassembled.
When the power cable is plugged in:
Flashing Green; the breast pump is charging
Solid Green; the breast pump is fully charged
When the power cable is not plugged in and the breast pump
is switched on:
Solid green; the breast pump is charged
Solid yellow; charging after one/current pumping session advised
Solid red; inadequate charge for pumping
