Vacuum does not feel
strong enough even at
high vacuum levels
L or R side selection button
not working
Pumping is painful or
uncomfortable
Solution
• Ensure that the breast pump is sufficiently charged (battery status indicator
green or yellow).
• If the L and R indicators are flashing, select the side.
• The highest vacuum levels can only be reached when milk has completely filled
up the breast shield tunnel.
• Ensure that the breast shield is completely sealed against the breast and that
there is nothing in between the breast and the shield (for eg. clothes, bra etc.)
• Ensure to boil all parts except the motor unit before first use for proper sealing.
• If the solutions above do not work, disassemble the breast pump. Ensure all
parts are clean, dry and not damaged. Reassemble the breast pump correctly,
following instructions in chapter 9.
• The highest vacuum levels cannot be reached until the milk has filled up the
breast shield tunnel completely.
• It is possible that the membranes and valves are not assembled correctly.
Ensure to assemble all parts according to chapter 9.
Yellow valve
• Switching the side is not possible once milk has been expressed.
Refer to chapter 10.2.
• If you experience pain during pumping, break the seal between the breast and
the breast shield with your finger and remove the breast pump from your breast.
• Ensure that your optimal breast shield size has been selected for maximum
efficiency and comfort [see chapter 7].
• Ensure you are using your maximum comfort vacuum while pumping
[see chapter 10].
• Ensure the nipple is centered in the breast shield tunnel.
• Ensure that the bra you are wearing supports the breast pump securely in place
while avoiding excessive compression on your breast. Try loosening the bra
strap or switching to a more stretchy bra if you experience discomfort.
