Solution
• Ensure that the breast pump is sufficiently charged (battery status indicator
green or yellow).
• Ensure that the breast shield is completely sealed against the breast and that
there is nothing in between the breast and the shield (eg. clothes, bra etc.)
• Ensure to boil all parts except for the motor unit before first use for proper sealing.
• If after 15 min of pumping no milk has been detected the pump will pause
automatically. Break the latch with your fingers and remove the pump from
your breast.
• If the solutions above do not work, disassemble the breast pump. Ensure all
parts are clean, dry and not damaged. Reassemble the breast pump correctly,
following instructions in chapter 9.
• Ensure the charging cable is plugged in correctly.
• Check if the breast pump is overheated. If yes, let it cool down and try to charge
again.
• Check the charging port for damage. If damaged, do not charge. Please
contact Medela Customer Service.
• If the breast pump was not used for a long period of time, it will take longer than
usual for the breast pump to start charging (battery status indicator flashing green).
• Switch the breast pump on and off and try again.
• To collect milk from the tunnel into the container, follow the instructions
in chapter 10.3.
• If a little milk is still left in the tunnel, detach the container from the motor unit
holding it in horizontal position. Open the spout lid and pour the milk from the
container into the bottle. The remaining milk in the breast shield tunnel will be
directed into the bottle while pouring.
• If a device has been exposed to water or other liquids, do not touch, unplug the
device from electrical outlet, turn off and contact manufacturer.
• Contact Medela Customer Service.
• If plugged, unplug the breast pump from the power source and turn it off.
• Dry off the exterior of the breast pump.
The Magic InBra
™
breast pump regularly checks its system to ensure everything is
working correctly and to detect any unauthorized changes or security breaches. In
case of a failure, the pump generates an error and may stop working.
• Turn the pump off and proceed with a factory reset by pressing and holding the
Power and the Start/Pause button for 10 seconds.
• If you have not resolved the problem with your breast pump or you have further
questions, please contact Medela Customer Service for assistance.
