5.2.4.7 Factory settings
With the help of this option, the device can be reset to the factory settings. When resetting the
device settings, the default values for the measurement parameters and the remaining menu
options are restored.
Use the ▲ or ▼ key to select the menu item Factory settings and press the OK key to reset the
device. This setting is protected against access with the code 1402. This is entered in a pop-up
dialogue. The entry always starts at the first digit.
To enter the code, use the ◄/► keys to select the digit to be adjusted. The digit to be changed
is highlighted in orange. Use the ▲/▼ keys to change the selected digit within the range 0 ... 9.
To confirm the entered code, press the OK key again. If the code was entered correctly, you will
be taken to the submenu, otherwise an error message will appear.
A dialogue window now opens in which the reset can be confirmed again via the tick or cancelled
via the cross. Select the tick or the cross with the ◄/► keys and confirm the selection with the
OK key. A dialogue window appears which confirms the reset. Close this window with the OK key.
