5.2.4.3.3 Screen saver
The screen saver or the automatic dimming of the display serves to save battery power. The
display automatically dims to the preset brightness value after the set time of inactivity.
Use the ▲ or ▼ key to select the menu item Screen saver and press the OK key to adjust the
screen saver in the next submenu.
Use the ▲ or ▼ key to navigate to the Brightness menu item to set the display brightness to which
the meter should automatically dim. Confirm the selection with the OK key. The currently set
brightness is now highlighted in orange. You can now use the ▲ or ▼ key to change the
brightness within the range 20 ... 60 % in 10 % steps. Confirm the setting with the OK key.
Use the ▲ or ▼ keys to navigate to the Time menu item to set how long it should take for the
display to dim automatically. Confirm the selection with the OK key. The currently set time is now
highlighted in orange. You can now use the ▲ or ▼ key to select between Off, 1 min, 3 min and
5 min. Confirm the setting with the OK key.
