Sawing (with guide rail)
NOTICE! The guide rail is not in-
cluded in the scope of delivery, but is
available as an option (e.g. Parkside
PTSZ 70 A1).
WARNING! The saw blade must
not touch the workpiece when
switched on.
Right angle sawing
1. Place the guide rail on the work-
piece, with the black rubber lip fa-
cing downwards.
2. Fix the guide rail to the workpiece.
3. Place the tool with the groove (41)
on the guide rail.
4. Turn the two adjusting screws (9)
so that the tool glides smoothly
without rattling.
5. Hold the tool with both hands, one
hand on the handle (3) and the
other hand on the auxiliary handle
(16).
6. Switch on the device (see
Switching on and off, p. 40).
7. Place the machine with the front
part of the baseplate (8) on the
workpiece.
8. Saw forward with moderate pres-
sure – never backward.
Mitre cuts up to 45°
1. Place the guide rail on the work-
piece, with the black rubber lip fa-
cing downwards.
2. Fix the guide rail to the workpiece.
3. Place the tool with the groove (41)
on the guide rail.
4. Set the desired cutting angle
(Bevel cutting, p. 38)
5. Hold the tool with both hands, one
hand on the handle (3) and the
other hand on the auxiliary handle
(16).
6. Switch on the device (see
Switching on and off, p. 40).

Pre-selecting the rotation
speed
The speed button (33) can
be used to select one of the
speed levels or ECO mode be-
fore you start the tool.
Switching on and off
Switching on
1. Insert the rechargeable battery (38)
into the device.
2. Press and hold the switch lock (1).
3. Press and hold the On/off switch
(2).
The LED work light (45) lights up.
4. Wait until the device has reached
full speed.
Switching off
1. To turn it off, release the on/off
switch (2).
The LED work light goes out after
approx. 10 seconds.
2. Do not pull the sawblade out
of the cut until it has come to a
standstill.
3. Remove the rechargeable bat-
tery (38) from the device if you are
leaving the device unattended or if
you have finished working.
Load indicator
During operation, the charge level in-
dicator (39) shows the load on the
tool.
