• If warm, allow the battery to cool
before charging.
• Do not expose the battery to dir-
ect sunlight for long periods and
do not place it on a radiator (max.
50°C).
Charging the battery
1. Remove the battery (38) from the
device.
2. Push the battery (38) into the char-
ging slot of the battery charger
(36).
3. Connect the battery charger (36) to
a power outlet.
4. After charging, disconnect the bat-
tery charger (36) from the mains.
5. Pull the battery (38) out of the bat-
tery charger (36).
Operation
Inserting and removing the
battery
WARNING! Risk of injury due to
unintentional start-up. Only insert
the battery into the device once the
device is fully prepared for use.
NOTICE! Risk of damage! An incor-
rect battery can damage the device
and battery.
Inserting the batteries
1. Push the two batteries (38) along
the guide into the battery holder
(28).
You will hear the batteries click
into place.
Removing the batteries
1. Press and hold the battery release
(37) on the battery (38).
2. Pull the batteries out of the battery
holder (28).
Information on sawing
• The maximum speed stated on the
tool must not be exceeded. If in-
dicated, the speed range must be
complied with.
• Maintenance work and modifica-
tions to circular saw blades should
only be performed by a profes-
sional, i.e. a person with specialist
training and experience who is fa-
miliar with the design requirements
and the necessary safety steps.
Sawing (without guide rail)
Right angle sawing
1. Hold the tool with both hands, one
hand on the handle (3) and the
other hand on the auxiliary handle
(16).
2. Switch on the device (see
Switching on and off, p. 40).
3. Place the machine with the front
part of the baseplate (8) on the
workpiece.
4. Saw forward with moderate pres-
sure – never backward.
Mitre cuts up to 45°
WARNING! Moving sideways dur-
ing the cut can cause the saw blade
to jam, resulting in kickback.
1. Set the desired cutting angle
(Bevel cutting, p. 38).
2. Hold the tool with both hands, one
hand on the handle (3) and the
other hand on the auxiliary handle
(16).
3. Switch on the device (see

4. Place the machine with the front
