Overload indicator
The overload indicator (34) indicates
when the tool is in danger of being
damaged. The tool then switches off
automatically.

PARKSIDE app

The PARKSIDE app lets you monitor
the device and control certain func-
tions. The functions may change with
updates to the app and firmware. For
more information on the PARKSIDE
app, see the instructions for the smart
battery.
Requirements
To find the device in the PARKSIDE
app, the following requirements must
be met:
• The PARKSIDE app is installed on
your smartphone and Bluetooth®
is activated.
• The device contains the following
battery: PARKSIDE Performance
Smart battery Smart PAPS 204 A1/
Smart PAPS 208 A1/
Smart PAPS 2012 A1. This bat-
tery is already connected to the
PARKSIDE app.
The device communicates with the
app via the battery.
Connecting the device to the
PARKSIDE app
1. Insert the smart batteries (38).
2. Press the Speed button (33).
The "Connected" indicator (30)
flashes three times. When the
device is connected, the "Connec-

3. Open the PARKSIDE app.

If the device does not appear in

Monitoring and controlling the
device

The device overview page is dis-
played.
3. Select the desired setting on the
overview page.
Select Help if you are unsure.
A dialogue box with a descrip-
tion for the relevant setting is dis-
played.

Notes
• Turn off the device.
• Make sure that all moving parts
have come to a complete stop.
• Remove the batteries from the tool.
• Ensure that the protective cover
(21) completely covers the circular
saw blade (22).
• Always carry the tool by the handle
(3) or use the storage case (20)
provided.
