Procedure
1. Pull the pull lever (25) of the pro-
tective hood (21) as far as it will
go.

Adjusting the cutting depth

Notes
• You can infinitely adjust the cutting
depth: 0 mm–62.,5 mm
• Set the cutting depth approx. 3
mm greater than the material thick-
ness. This gives you a clean cut.
• The cutting angle setting scale
only applies to vertical cuts (0°). In-
crease the cutting depth accord-
ingly for other cutting angles.
Procedure
1. Remove the batteries from the
tool.
2. Loosen the locking lever (7) for the
cutting depth adjustment.
3. Set the desired cutting depth on
the scale (5). The upper edge of
the reading mark (4) shows the set
value.
4. Press the locking lever (7) firmly.

Bevel cutting

Notes
• You can infinitely adjust the cutting
angle:
0°–48°
• There are no guide notches for
angles between 0° and 45°.
• The larger the cutting angle, the
smaller the maximum cutting
depth.
Procedure
1. Remove the batteries from the
tool.
2. Loosen the retaining screw (14, 26)
for the cutting angle setting.
3. Set the desired cutting angle on
the scale (13). The upper edge of
the reading mark (12) shows the
set value.

4. Tighten the retaining screw (14,
26).
NOTICE! Turn the adjusting knob
(42) to vary the cutting angle stop
between 45° and 48°.

External dust extraction

CAUTION! Health hazard due to
dust. Dust from hardwood can cause
cancer. Connect the tool to a suitable
class M extraction device.
Connecting external dust extrac-
tion (Fig. B)
1. Connect a suitable dust extraction
(not included) to the chip ejector
(29).
2. If the external dust extraction does
not fit, use the additional reducer
piece (17).

the chip ejector (29).
2. Remove the reducer piece (17).
Checking the battery

1. Press the button (40) next to the
charge level indicator button (39)
on the battery (38).
The LEDs of the charge level in-
dicator show how much charge re-
mains in the battery.
2. Charge the battery (38) when only
the red LED on the charge level in-
dicator (39) is illuminated.
