• Loosen the digging depth lock nut fig. D5 to release the cutting
depth adjustment screw fig. D6, turn the screw until the cutting
head is at the desired depth.
• While holding the upper arm in this position, tighten the lock nut
fig. D5 to secure the digging depth adjustment screw fig. D6.
• Again, check the depth of the blade by moving the cutting head
from front to back, making a full movement of a typical cut along
the rocker arm.
CONSERVATION
WARNING: Disconnect the saw from the power supply by removing
the battery before making adjustments, servicing or maintenance.
• After all adjustments, settings or maintenance, make sure all
spanners and other tools are removed and all screws, bolts and
other components are tightened securely.
• The tool's vents should always be unobstructed and clean.
Sometimes sparks may be visible through the vents. This is a normal
occurrence and will not damage the power tool.
• Regularly check the grilles near the motor and switch for dust or
foreign objects. Use a soft brush to remove accumulated dust.
• Wear safety goggles to protect your eyes when cleaning.
• If the body of the saw needs cleaning, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth.
A mild detergent can be used, but not alcohol, petrol or any other
strong cleaning agent.
• Never use caustic cleaners to clean plastic parts.
NOTE: The saw must not come into contact with water.
• Keep the tool, instruction manual and accessories in a safe
place. This will ensure that all information and parts are always
easily accessible.
GENERAL INSPECTION
• Regularly check that all fixing screws are tight. They can become
loose over time. Check the outer flange in particular. If there is
vibration, the bolts may come loose over time.
• Check the batteries and their connection socket regularly.

NOISE AND VIBRATION DATA
Sound pressure level
Measured sound power level
Information on noise and vibration
The noise emission level of the equipment is described by: the emitted
sound pressure level LpA and the sound power level LWA (where K
denotes the measurement uncertainty). The vibration emitted by the
equipment is described by the vibration acceleration value ah (where K is
the measurement uncertainty).
The sound pressure level LpA, the sound power level LWA and the
vibration acceleration value ah given in these instructions have been

measured in accordance with EN 62841-1. The vibration level ah given
can be used for comparison of equipment and for preliminary assessment
of vibration exposure.
The vibration level quoted is only representative of the basic use of the
unit. If the unit is used for other applications or with other work tools, the
vibration level may change. A higher vibration level will be influenced by
insufficient or too infrequent maintenance of the unit. The reasons given
above may result in increased vibration exposure during the entire working
period.
In order to accurately estimate vibration exposure, it is necessary to take
into account periods when the unit is switched off or when it is switched on
but not used for work. Once all factors have been accurately estimated,
the total vibration exposure may turn out to be much lower.
In order to protect the user from the effects of vibration, additional safety
measures should be implemented, such as cyclical maintenance of the
machine and working tools, securing an adequate hand temperature and
proper work organisation.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Electrically-powered products should not be disposed of
with household waste, but should be taken to appropriate
facilities for disposal. Contact your product dealer or local
authority for information on disposal. Waste electrical and
electronic
substances. Equipment that is not recycled poses a
potential risk to the environment and human health.
