2.6. Indications

Inability to walk or severe walking disability in adults due to
• Paralysis
• Limb loss
• Limb defect / deformity
• Joint contractures / joint damage (not on both arms)
• Other diseases
Use with reinforced wheelchairs is indicated when the body weight of
the disabled person is 125 kg or more and a standard wheelchair no
longer provides the necessary safety.

2.7. Contraindications

The use of the wheelchair by adults is unsuitable in the case of
• Perceptual disorders
• Severe balance disorders
• Loss of limbs on both arms
• Joint contractures / joint damage in both arms
• Incapacity to sit
• Reduced or insufficient vision

2.8. Declaration of conformity

We Bischoff & Bischoff GmbH declare under our sole responsibility
that the Pyro Light / Pyro Light XL wheelchair complies with all
requirements of MDR 2017/745 that are applicable.
