This shows when the signa! is set to
VTR and [AUDIO] signal is set to PHONO as an
example,

6. Activate the SOUND SELECTOR switch
and its red indicator @ lights.
7, Activate the desired source selector switch
{other than the VTR_ switch) and the
signal of the selected source is out-
put from the speakers while the [VIDEO]
signal from the VIDEO-2/AUX terminais is
output from the MONITOR OUT.
8. Adjust volume, balance and S.E.A. controls.
Note:
@When the VIDEO-1 DAD is selected and the
SOUND SELECTOR switch is activated,
the signal from the VIDEO-2/AUX terminals
is automatically output from the
MONITOR OUT and the |AUDIO) signal
input via the VIDEO-1/DAD terminals is out-
put from the speakers.
For example, when a video disc player is con-
nected to the VIDEO-2/AUX terminals and a
DAD player is connected to the VIDEQO-1/
DAD terminals, the signal from the
video disc player and the signal from
the DAD player will be output (refer to Fig.
18).
Watching and listening to a VTR
1, Connect the VTR to the VTR terminals.
2, Press the POWER switch to on.
3. Activate the VTR switch,
4. Operate the VTR for playback as described
in its operation manual,
When the SOUND SELECTOR function is used

Recording tapes
Recording from records
1. Connect a tape deck to the TAPE REC
terminals.
2. Press the POWER switch to on,
3. Press the SPEAKERS switches if you want
to monitor the sound while recording.
4. Activate the PHONO switch andthe PHONO
indicator lights.
5. Operate the turntable.
6. Operate the tape deck for recording.
Notes:
@You can also monitor the sound being re-
corded with headphones.
The sound you hear from the speakers or
headphones is the source sound (record
playback sound in this case). not the re-
cording on the tape.
@!f you have a three-head tape deck with
independent record and playback heads or
a tape deck having an independent moni-
toring facility. You can monitor the recorded
sound while recording by pressing the TAPE
MONITOR switch.

matisch via MONITOR OUT- und
das [AUDIO}-Signal via VIDEO-1/DAD-
Buchsen als Ausgangssignal iiber die. Laut-
sprecher wiedergegeben.
Ist 2.B. ein Video-Bildplattenspieler an die
VIDEO-2/AUX-Buchsen ein DAD-Spieler an
die VIDEO-1/DAD-Buchsen angeschlossen,
wird das [VIDEO] -Signal des Bildplattenspie-
lers und das [AUDIO}-Signal des DAD-
Spielers als Ausgangssignal wiedergegeben
(siehe Seite Abb. 18).
Bild- und Tonwiedergabe eines Videorecorders
1. Einen Videorecorder an die VTR-Buchse
anschlieRen.
2, Den POWER-Schalter auf die Betriebsposi-
tion stellen,
3. Den VTR-Schalter aktivieren,
4, Den Videorecorder entsprechend seiner An-
leitung bedienen.

eWahrend das [MIDEQ)-Signal des Videore-
corders tibertragen wird, kann das [AUDIO]-
Signal beliebig gewahlt werden; diese Funk-
tion wird in der Symbolanzeige-Display @
angezeigt.
Bandaufnahme
Bandaufnahme von Schallplatten
1. An die TAPE REC-Buchsen ein Bandgerat
anschlieRen.
2. Den POWER-Schalter auf die Betriebsposi-
tion schalten.
3. Soll wahrend der Aufnahme mitgehdért
werden, die SPEAKERS-Schalter betatigen.
4. Den PHONO-Schalter aktivieren, Die
PHONO-Anzeige leuchtet.
5. Den Plattenspieler bedienen.
6. Das Bandgerat auf Aufnahmebetrieb
schalten.
Hinweise:
@Beim Aufnehmen kann der Ton iiber Kopf-
horer gehort werden.
© Der Ton, der iiber Kopfhorer oder iiber Laut-
sprecher gehort wird, ist der Ton des Platten-
spielers und nicht der bereits aufgenommene.
@Wenn das Tonbanddeck mit drei Tonkopfen
und dabei voneinander unabhdngigen Auf-
nahme- und Wiedergabeképfen ausgertistet
ist, bzw. eine unabhangig arbeitende Monitor-
funktion besitzt, kann durch Driicken des
TAPE MONITOR-Schalters der auf Band
aufgenommene Ton mitgehort werden (Hin-
terbandkontrolle).
