ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Foot Cover (Fig. 2)
Warning: Using the device without a foot cover may result in a fall.
To don the foot cover:
1. Open the snaps and pull the heel section down.
2. Insert the foot into the foot cover.
3. Make sure the bottom blade end is inside the heel groove.
4. Close both snaps.
To doff the foot cover:
1. Open the snaps and pull the heel section down.
2. Remove the foot.
Prosthesis
Assemble prosthesis with applicable devices.
Warning: Risk of structural failure. Components from other manufacturers
have not been tested and may cause excessive load on the device.
Warning: Ensure proper attachment by following the applicable device
assembly instructions.
Remove the Pyramid Protector during final fitting.
Caution: The Pyramid Protector may have sharp edges.
ALIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Bench Alignment (Fig. 3)
Alignment Goal
Alignment reference line (B) should:
– pass through midpoint of socket at either the patellar tendon level
or at the ischial tuberosity level (D).
– fall at the 1/3 mark on the inside of the foot cover.
Note: Prioritize knee alignment over foot alignment if there is a mismatch.
Alignment Instructions
1. Position the foot so that the alignment reference line (B) falls at the
1/3 mark on the inside of the foot cover (with the foot cover and shoe
on). Consider the external rotation of the foot.
