If for any reason the old plug is cut o the cord of this tool,
it must be disposed of safely and not left unattended
USE
Preparation
- place the table surface on the ground
- cut cable ties
- release beveling lock lever N and remove all package
materials 7
! do not raise the saw blade before removing
package materials; this could damage the tool
Assemble
- using bolt, spring washer and plain washer set AD,
assemble the drive knob K with double-ended allen
wrench AC 8
- remove table insert C as shown 9
- raise the saw blade to the highest position by rotating
height adjustment wheel Q CLOCKWISE
- relase the riving knife release lever A and install the
protective guard and riving knife assembly D as shown
q
- lock the riving knife relase lever A
- assemble table insert C and lock it in place
! check the protective guard and riving knife
assembly D for proper function; it should keep in
contact with the table top when changing the saw
blade height and bevel settings
! check the protective guard and riving knife
assembly D for proper closing before each use
! do not operate the saw if the protective guard
does not move freely and close instantly
- assemble the rip fence G as shown w
Dust/chip extraction
- mount vacuum cleaner adapter AA as illustrated ea,
then connect vacuum cleaner
- alternatively, mount dust de ector AE to guide the dust
into a bucket eb
Work helpers
- some sawing operations will require the use of
additional work helpers
- use push block AG (not standard included) when
working with narrow workpieces when you need to
push close to the saw blade ra
- use featherboards AH (not standard included) for all
non-through-cutting operations where the protective
guard and riving knife assembly cannot be used rb
- push block and featherboards may be purchased at
specialist woodworking stores
Setting bevel angles
from 0° to 45° ta
- release bevel locking lever N
- swing the saw to the desired bevel angle
- tighten the bevel locking lever N
to reach -2° and 47°tb
! by adjusting the bevel angle to 47° (or -2°) you
will loose the factory pre-set anglesof 45° (or 0°),
this needs to be re-set afterwards, please refer to
"Checking/adjusting of 90° blade alignment with
table top"
- release bevel locking lever N
- loosen block bolt AJ with the provided wrench
- swing the saw to 47°(or -2°) and lock bevel locking
lever N
- adjust block bolt AJ until bevel-stop block AK touches
the height adjustment wheel Q
- tighten block bolt AJ
Setting blade height
Set the saw blade approx. 3-6mm higher than the
workpiece
- rotate height adjustment wheel Q CLOCKWISE to raise
the saw blade
- rotate height adjustment wheel Q
COUNTERCLOCKWISE to lower the saw blade
Rail locking adjustment y
- lock the rail locking lever J
- loosen the jam nut AM on the underside of the saw
- tighten the hex rod AL until the spring on the locking
system is compressed creating the desired tension on
the rail locking lever J
- retighten the jam nut AM
Rip fence u
the rip fence G has 3 positions
! make sure that the guiding surface is always
facing the saw blade
- use position 1 in combination with the WHITE scale
- use position 2 for maximum rip capacity in combination
with the BLACK scale
! when beveling (to the left) use the rip fence on the
opposite side only (position 1 or 2)
- use position 3 for using the rip fence on the left side of
the blade
rip fence adjustment
- release rail locking lever J
- adjust the rip fence G to the desired distance with rail
drive knob K
- lock rail locking lever J
! make sure that the rip fence is locked securely
before sawing
Auxiliary fence ia
Use the auxiliary fence
(18mm or less) close to the blade
- release rail locking lever J
- slide the rip fence G close to the blade (position 1)
- ip the auxiliary fence

- adjust the rip fence G to the desired distance with rail
drive knob K
- lock rail locking lever J
Saw table extension ib
- release rail locking lever J
- slide the rip fence G past the edge of the table (use
position 2)
- ip the auxiliary fence
use as workpiece support
- adjust the rip fence G to the desired distance with rail
drive knob K
- lock rail locking lever J
Lengthways cutting (ripping)
! make sure the rip fence is locked
! when using the rip fence do not use the mitre
gauge
! hold the workpiece with both hands and press it
against the table
- when cutting long boards or large panels use auxiliary
work supports to support the free end o a
