Please note that the instructions in this section are only applicable for pressure monitoring sets with a fi lling and irrigation system and
pressure transducer types DPT-6003 or DPT-9003. Pressure monitoring sets with pressure transducer types DPT-6009 or DPT-9009

Exposed contacts of the electrical accessories must not be touched at the same time as the patient while the accessories
are making an electrically conductive connection to a control monitor. Risk of electric shock! Make sure that an electrically
conductive connection cannot be established between the patient and the exposed contacts of the electrical accessories.
Spilling of liquids, whatever the quantity, onto electrical contacts can lead to the loss of basic safety, including the essential
performance characteristics. Make sure that no liquids can wet the electrical contacts of the accessories when ending use
of the electrical accessories. In the event of liquid contact, clean and dry the electrical accessories and check their function.

The piercing device of a fi lling and irrigation system must not be disposed of unprotected because this could result in a
needlestick injury with accompanying infection during or after disposal. Prior to disposal, push the piercing device into the
opening of the roller clamp to prevent needlestick injuries and guarantee safe disposal.
