Test metering station in test mode
Procedure:
1.
Connect the test medium to the metering station.
2.
Switch the metering station on

Power up the entire installation by activating the control of your overall system.
4.
Start the pump
Ä Chapter 6.2.2 'Switching the pump on and off' on page 43 ).

5.
If a suction lance is present: Check that the empty signal is functioning.
6.
Vent the metering pump using the venting function of the multifunction valve and set
the multifunction valve according to the process conditions.
7.
If a suction lance is present: Position the suction lance in the supply tank. To prevent
the intake of air, fully immerse the suction lance in the test medium.
8.
Completely fill the system with the test medium

9.
Check that all safety components are set and functioning according to the
characteristics of the system: For example, the overflow function, flow monitoring
function and level monitoring function.
10. Check the entire system for leaks (visual inspection).
11. If you detect any leaks, switch off the metering station and rectify the leaks
immediately.
12. Allow the test medium to drain completely from the system by opening the pipework
connections.
6.1.3
Prepare the metering station for productive operation
Procedure:
1.
Connect the metering medium to the metering station.
2.
If a suction lance is present: Position the suction lance in the supply tank. To prevent
the intake of air, fully immerse the suction lance in the metering medium.

Power up the entire system by activating the system control.
5.

6.
Completely fill the system with the metering medium
