Observe the safety regulations and wear the required protective clothing when
working with chemicals. Attention must be paid to all information included on
the product data sheet for the metering medium used.
2.2
Intended use
The Eco metering console is used for pre-feeding, batch/proportional metering of
validated liquid chemicals into a customer container or into a customer pipework system.
The volume flow and pressure level depend on the selection of the available pump
variants.
Intended use includes the following points:
n
Use is restricted to commercial applications in an industrial environment; private use is
excluded.
n
All operating instructions prescribed by Ecolab and all maintenance and maintenance
conditions must be complied with.
n
Only liquid chemicals validated by Ecolab may be processed in the console.
n
The Eco metering console must not be used for processing outgassing media.
n
The console may only be operated within the specified operating conditions.
n
The console must not be used in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Any other or additional use is regarded as misuse. Ecolab shall not be liable for any
resulting damage to property or personal injury.
When processing outgassing media, a device for collecting and returning
outgassed product residues to the product container must be provided. Please
contact your Ecolab service partner.

Reasonably foreseeable incorrect use
According to the hazard analysis, the following points can lead to misuse:
n
Closing manual valves during operation.
n
Use of unsuitable chemicals
n
Processing of peroxide products or products that develop toxic, hazardous gases.
n
Mixing of chemical types and residual stocks.
n
Incorrect ambient temperatures or media temperatures.
n
Use of incorrect design variants (e.g. incorrect sealing or pump head materials)
Use of non-compatible accessories
n
n
Carrying out unauthorised and unapproved modifications to theconsole.
