Commissioning / operation
1.
To start the metering pump, press the "Test" button on the pump control panel.

To stop the metering pump, release the "Test" button.

ð The 'operating screen' stops and the pump goes into standby.

Putting the metering station into operation
You may only put the metering station into operation if all operating requirements are met
and all operating parameters comply with the technical specifications.
To put the metering station into operation, proceed as follows:
1.
Start the pump and let it run until the system circuit is filled with medium (approx. 20
minutes).
2.
Select the necessary processes on your control.
The functional principle of the standard Eco metering station then applies .

Monitoring the operation of the metering station
To minimise operational interruptions and safety risks, the metering station offers multiple
safety components and safety functions.
These components and functions help you to monitor machine operation as follows:

Fill level monitoring with suction lance
n
Fill level monitoring with automatic tank changeover
n
Self-monitoring of the EcoPro/EcoAdd metering pump
n
Pressure monitoring with multi-function valve
n
Metering volume monitoring with OGM
n
Metering volume monitoring with SMx
n
Leak monitoring with Maximat leak sensor
6.2.6.1 Fill level monitoring with suction lance
If you use a suction lance in your supply tank, you can automatically monitor the fill level.
The suction lance in the supply tank measures the fill level and sends the following signals
to the main control:
