Cleaning

Warning!


Clean your wheelchair with a damp cloth. If desired, use a mild detergent. Do not use
any abrasive or aggressive cleansers.
We strongly advise against using a high-pressure cleaner!
If desired, the wheelchair may be disinfected using an ordinary disinfectant.
3.8

Maintenance and repair

The wheelchair should be serviced by the dealer at least once a year.
Any repairs should be carried out by your dealer.
Any parts needing to be exchanged, should at least meet the specifications of the
original parts.
All parts can be ordered from Handicare.
Warning!
Any deviation from the above instructions could result in a diminished
safety of the wheelchair. For this, Handicare cannot accept any liability.
A connection diagram of the batteries has been provided underneath the cover of the
battery tray.
3.9

Storage

Store your wheelchair in a place that is not damp.
If you do not use your wheelchair for any length of time, it is recommended to regularly
charge the batteries (approx. once every three weeks) to make sure that the battery
capacity is not diminished.

3.10 Transport in car or taxi

Chair without occupant

Make sure the parking brake is applied when the wheelchair is inside the vehicle.

Make sure the wheelchair is fixed, especially if there is no separate luggage room
(e.g. in a van).
For transport, the back rest may be folded down, by means of the unlocking pin, and
the arm rests removed (optional). If your wheelchair has been fitted with standard or
comfort leg rests, these may also be removed.

Switch off the wheelchair before carrying out cleaning duties.
Do not allow electric components to come in contact with
water or other fluids.
