1.1

General Information

These operating instructions are an integral part of the pump and contain the necessary information and im-
portant instructions for operating the pump safely and properly. Observing them will help:
• avoid dangers,
• reduce repair costs and downtime, and
• increase the reliability and service life of the product
It is the responsibility of the operator to ensure the availability of this document. This applies in particular if
the document is lost.
All persons working on the pump must have read and understood the operating manual and these operating
instructions.

Structure of the Safety Instructions

Safety instructions are identified by a pictogram and a signal word. The following signal words are used to
indicate dangers, prohibitions and important information:
