Mount the cooling units on the base stands
Connect up the power sources to the cooling units
Establish an LHSB link between the power sources
Link up the power sources to the robot control
Connect power source "1" to power source "2"
Set up the wirefeeders
Set up the unreeling devices or unreeling-type wirefeeders
Connect up the power sources to the wirefeeders
Connect up the unreeling devices or unreeling-type wirefeeders to the wire-
feeders
Connect the Twin torch-hosepack to the wirefeeders
Set up the welding torch
Connect up the remote control panels

VR 7000
Make ground (earth) connections

between the workpiece and power
sources "1" and "2"
IIMPORTANT!
- use separate earth (ground) cables
- arrange the earthing (grounding)
cables in a bifilar pattern - do NOT
coil
Connect up wirefeeders "1"

and "2" to the gas supply:
- VR 1500, VR 1500-11/12/30:

on the rear of the unit
- VR 7000:
Shielding-gas connector jack
inside the unit (right-hand side)
