General
A few words on
These Operating Instructions describe the "TimeTwin Digital" process. The
this manual
terms "LHSB connection" or "LHSB connector cable" are only used here with re-
ference to the "TimeTwin Digital" process.
For details of how to operate power sources in parallel (TP/TS/TPS 7200 / 9000
applications), see the Operating Instruction manual "Balancing inductance for
TP/TS/TPS 7200 / 9000".
You can only run the "TimeTwin Digital" process if the software has been specially
enabled on 2 power sources. If the software has not been so enabled, these Ope-
rating Instructions are not relevant in your case.

double-wire welding, where two wire electrodes are welded with shared wel-
ding potential, and
tandem welding (Fronius: TimeTwin Digital), where two wire electrodes are
welded with separate welding potential
arcs selectively controllable
the metal-transfer processes from both wire electrodes can be timed to co-
ordinate with one another (i.e. either synchronised or phase-displaced)
minimal arc-blow effect in pulsed arc
low-spatter metal transfer with almost constant droplet size
the power-source characteristic can readily be adjusted to the base metal
and filler metal, and to the shielding gas
because the arcs are short, there is only a small weld-pool - which leads to
high welding speeds
"mixed" arc combinations are possible (e.g. pulsed arc + standard arc)
easy to operate, as its guidance menu is structured in the same way as on the
TPS 4000 / 5000 machines
