In the same way as with the "Twin in-
terfaces", an SPC (stored-program
controller) is also integrated in
the "Twin field-bus systems". This SPC
carries out the logical gating of the si-
gnals. In this way, both power sources
are addressed simultaneously by one
signal from the robot control. For two
power sources, only one such "Twin
field-bus system" is needed. The "Twin
field-bus system" is mounted to one of
the power sources.
The connection to the other power

tion to the robot control is via field

When standard field-bus systems are
used, logical gating of the signals must
