FAULT
The appliance has been tested before being
put into service. The information provided be-
low is intended to assist in the identifi cation
and correction of any anomalies and malfun-
ctions which might occur during use.
The user can solve some of these problems
himself, but for others specifi c technical
knowledge or skill is required, and so they must
only be carried out by qualifi ed staff with reco-
gnised experience acquired in the specifi c sec-
tor of operation.
Faults
Smell of gas.
The pilot light goes out.
The fl ame is yellow.
Burner control knob is stiff .
The heating elements do
not come on.
The appliance does not
heat up to the set
temperature.

Causes
Occasional leak because
fl ame has gone out.
The thermocouple has not
warmed up enough.
Burner dirty.
Gas control valve malfun-
ction.
Electrical connection not
made correctly.
Safety thermostat tripped.
Switch faulty.
Thermostat faulty.

Remedies
Turn off the gas supply tap and
ventilate the room.
Make more attempts to light
the fl ame.
Clean the burner.
