5.6. Transport
5.6.1. General
Close the protection covers. Check the tension of the tires (ca 3 bar) and profile depth (min. 2 mm.).
Couple the JMB on and make sure that the shaft is connected firmly.
By pulling the shaft powerful up, you can check if the coupling is put on firmly.
Pay attention that the nose wheel stands in the right drive direction.
Attach the nose wheel carefully on the towing hook eye it is meant for it.
This cable is a safety precaution and is used as an emergency break, when suddenly the coupling gets
loose during the drive. Attach the electrical cable for the lighting, and check it.
Unbolt the overrun brake (if present) and remove the wedge. The JMB must always be provided with a good
readable, official registration plate, according to the regulations apply to your country. The plate must be at-
tached properly on the rear and in this way that the lighting lights the complete plate.

5.6.2. Storage at freezing temperatures

Add antifreeze to the water in the water supply tank, in order that the machine can suck this liquid.
Get the hose from the spray gun and turn on the machine. Spray until the antifreeze water comes out of the
gun. This indicates that the whole system is now filled with antifreeze. By spraying the water again into the
tank, you get a closed circuit and no antifreeze liquid gets lost. Turn off the machine as described.
Antifreeze is an additive which may absolutely not been drain/discharged without permission.
You have to collect the outlet antifreeze water in a reservoir. This is also the case when you use the
machine once more, the antifreeze water which has been left in the machine will then flow through.
Please do always take into account the matching security measures.
TIP: You can use the collected water with antifreeze several times !
Remark: pay attention to the water supply hose & supply water filter, these are not filled with antifreeze
agent! You can uncouple the supply hose/water filter and put away the hose/filter frost free.
You also can drain the water from the hose (eg. : by blowing with compressed air) or through the water filter
(by loosening the basket and draining the water from the hose).
Option: filling set antifreeze (see photo below - 1.230.100/101/102).
First loosen the basket from the water filter. Connect the filling set antifreeze to the low pressure hose and to
the high pressure hose (closed circuit). Put the cleaner on idle speed and operate the spray gun. Keep the
spray gun pressed till the water flows out of the low pressure hose and there is filled with antifreeze till the
water filter. Turn the basket back on the filter and then push again on the spray gun. Hold the spray gun until
also the water filter (note the color of antifreeze in the water filter) is filled with antifreeze (+- 20 litres). Turn
off the cleaner and disconnect the antifreeze filling set of the hoses.
The low pressure side is now also filled with antifreeze.
