3.3. Component review
1. Motor
The type of motor depends on the type of machine (see technical data). The motor runs the pump.
2. Manometer
On the manometer one can read the pressure.
3. High pressure pump
The type of high pressure pump depends on the type of machine (see technical data).
The high pressure pump has as purpose to bring the water to the desired pressure.
4. Trailer
The machine is build on a trailer (also can be equipped with a braked trailer).
5. Water tank
The water tank is an reservoir that is assembled between the water system (tap) and the high pressure pump.
The water tank prevents that there may appear pressure impulses in the water system.
Pressure impulses appears by switching on and off the spray jet.
The water tank prevents under all circumstances that there penetrates chemicals in the water system.
The tank has also an overflow for draining the over plus on water.
Below is a drain tap fitted to empty the tank.
6. Water filter
The water supply is cleaned with the water filter.
7. Pressure relief valve
The pressure valve is mounted in the front of the trailer. If the pressure in the water circuit gets to high by unex-
pected circumstances, the pressure relief valve opens and the water goes back in the water tank.
8. Chassis
The chassis is made of a steel zincked construction.
The chassis is mounted on the trailer, the engine is mounted with vibration isolators on the chassis.
9. High pressure tap
The high pressure tap is located on the high pressure reel.
Tap upwards: machine goes into high pressure bypass allowing the high pressure water flows to the water tank
(make sure the engine is turning idle in bypass position).
In this position, the high pressure water does not flow directly from the sewer nozzle (unloaded condition).
Tap downwards: the high pressure water is transported to the sewer nozzle via the high pressure hose
(loaded condition).
