4.6. Pressure regulator
The pressure regulator is mounted at the left of the machine. The spray pressure is indicated on the manometer.
4.7. Spraying tools
The high pressure hose is coupled rotated on the spray gun. Also assemble (tighten) the lance to the spray gun.
Because of that you have a great extend of free movement during the spraying.
Check regularly, during spraying activities, whether the lance coupling is still fixed to the spray gun.
Spray gun
Do not spray: release the lever in the handle.
Spraying: push the lever in the handle.
Spray Security: release the blocking pawl in the handle.
The JMB will be standard equipped with a high pressure/low pressure reel. Always secure/block the reel(s) after
use and before transporting the trailer. Always unroll the reel hose(s) completely during spraying activities to
ensure an optimal performance!

4.8. Set to work

Put the cleaner as much as possible in a horizontal position. Connect the high pressure hose (without spray
lance) to the high pressure cleaner. Turn the main switch to position ON. Starts the engine with key (electrically)
or with the pull rope (by hand) until the engine starts. Aim the spray gun (when used) in to the free space and
operate the spray gun until the water jet is completely de aerated (+- 30 sec.).Turn the main switch to position
OFF. Operate the spray equipment (when used) and check the working pressure on the pressure gauge.
4.9. HT pumps
There must be present a pre pressure (pump) at pumps with high temperature. The pre pressure (pump) must
provide for sufficient flow of water to feed the high pressure pump and to occur cavitation.
Cavitation is the phenomenon that in a moving fluid the local pressure is going to be lower than the vapour pres-
sure of the fluid. Because of this mist bells will arise who can implode with high power in the pump and could
cause damages. For all these applications at high temperature, it is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL to feed the
pump with positive pressure (at least 3 bar) and with a sufficient quantity of water.
4.10. Trailer
Connecting:
Open the coupling housing by pressing in the locking button on the handgrip and pulling it up.
Place the opened coupling housing on the ball of the towing hook of the tow vehicle and release the handgrip.
The handgrip should now slide back into its starting position on its own. The coupling locks and is secured auto-
matically. Make sure the coupling is in the right position. Fasten the safety cable (if fitted)(see figure) and attach
the plug to the tow vehicle. Pull up the support wheel (if fitted) and secure it in position parallel to the driving
direction (the support wheel must not impede the movement of the brake rod, (if fitted).
Check: the ball on the towing hook of the tow vehicle must not be visible when the trailer is connected!
Disconnecting:
Lower the support wheel (if fitted). Remove the safety cable (if fitted) and the plug. Open the coupling housing
by pressing in the locking button on the handgrip and pulling it up. Lift the coupling housing off the towing hook
on the tow vehicle. Pay particular attention when disconnecting on a slope (once the tow vehicle is stationary,
apply the hand brake or use the wheel blocker, if fitted)A valid driving licence is obviously required for driving
with the trailer. If the trailer is not loaded carefully, there is a risk that it might skid or swerve. You should also
adjust your driving speed depending on road conditions and the load you are pulling. This applies especially to
bends. Ensure that the wheels do not have any lateral shear and that the tyres are not out of balance. Check the
tyre pressure (see figure). Check the lights: indicators, rear lights, brake lights. Before driving off, make sure that
the wheel blockers have been removed and that the hand brake on the trailer has been released.
