Get started
Initial set up
You — yes, you — can do this! (It won't bite!)
01 Take that Instant Pot Pro Crisp out of the box. (If you haven't already!)
02 Remove the packaging material and accessories from in and around the multicooker
and make sure all the parts are accounted for. See Product, parts and accessories for
a full parts breakdown.
Make sure you check under the inner pot!
03 Wash the inner pot in a dishwasher or with hot water and washing up liquid. Rinse it
well with warm, clear water and use a soft cloth to thoroughly dry the outside of the
inner pot.
04 Wipe the heating element with a soft, dry cloth to make sure there are no stray
packaging particles left in the multicooker base.
Don't remove the safety warning stickers from the lid (unless specified on the sticker!)
or the identification label from the back of the multicooker base.
05 You may be tempted to put the Pro Crisp on your hob — but don't do it! Place the
multicooker base on a stable, level surface, away from combustible material and
external heat sources.
