IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
20 Proper maintenance is recommended before and after each use:
• Check the steam release valve, steam release pipe, anti-block
shield and float valve on the pressure cooking lid for clogging;
• Check the heating element and element cover on the air fryer lid
for grease and food debris;
• Prior to inserting the inner pot into the multicooker base, make
sure both parts are dry and free of food debris;
• Let the appliance cool to room temperature before cleaning
or storage.
• Do not allow children to clean or maintain the unit.

21 To turn off, select Cancel, then remove the plug from the power source.
Always unplug when not in use, as well as before adding or removing
parts or accessories, and before cleaning. To unplug, take hold of the
plug and pull from the socket. Never pull from the power lead.
22 Spilled food can cause serious burns. A short power-supply lead is
provided to reduce the hazards resulting from grabbing, entanglement
and tripping.
• DO NOT let the power lead hang over edges of tables or counters,
or touch hot surfaces or open flames, including the hob.
• DO NOT use below-counter power sockets, and never use with an
extension lead.
• Keep the appliance and leads away from children.
23 Regularly inspect the appliance and power lead. Do not operate the
appliance if the power lead or plug is damaged, or after the appliance
malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any way. For assistance,
