The EWR 2 Net MFC Mode (electronic welding regulator mass flow control mode) gas management
system is used to regulate the gas supply during MIG/MAG and TIG gas welding. The MFC mode enables
defined gas regulation with the aid of a permanent control circuit between the device and a higher-level
control system. The device is used in both manual and automated applications. The device may be operated
only with original ABICOR BINZEL spare parts. These operating instructions only describe the
EWR 2 Net MFC Mode gas management system with firmware version 1.9.0 and higher. When used in
these operating instructions, the terms "device", "product", and "gas management system" always refer
to the EWR 2 Net MFC Mode gas management system.
