Setting the speed (Fig. 4)
Note:
The product has 6 speed levels.
Note:
We recommend determining the speed using practical tests.
Note:
The speed can also be changed during operation.

The speed can be set continuously using the wheel on the speed control knob (2).
9.3
Changing the sanding sheet (Fig. 6)
The sanding sheet can be switched to machine different materials. There are also different grain siz-
es for coarse sanding and fine sanding. If necessary, the speed must be adjusted to the new sanding
sheet.
Note:
Ensure that the sanding sheet is switched in good time,
otherwise the sanding sheet may tear and the workpiece may be damaged.
Note:
Clean the grinding wheel before putting on a sanding sheet.
ATTENTION
Only use sanding sheets that match in size. Larger sanding sheets extending beyond the sanding
wheel presents a laceration hazard and may cause snagging or tearing of the sanding sheets.
Note:
The grinding wheel is equipped with a Velcro fabric for quick attachment of the sanding sheet.
9.3.1
Attaching sanding sheets
1.
Press the sanding sheet (8) evenly onto the grinding wheel (5).
Ensure that the sanding sheet (8) lies flush and that the holes are congruent with the suction
holes of the grinding wheel (5).
9.3.2
Removing sanding sheets
1.
Take off the sanding sheet (8) from the grinding wheel (5).

Removing/replacing the grinding wheel (Fig. 7)

If necessary, remove the sanding sheet (8) as described under Changing the sanding sheet (Fig.
6).
2.
Loosen the four Phillips screws (12) with a Phillips screwdriver (not included in the scope of de-
livery).
3.
Remove the grinding wheel (5) from the motor unit.
4.
Fit the grinding wheel (5) again in reverse order.
Ensure that the centring lugs in the motor unit match the mountings on the grinding wheel (5).
