Statement 6
In regard to loading / moving a configured ( loaded ) rack on castor wheels, the
following warnings must be upheld:
TIP / HEAVY EQUIPMENT
• EN: This rack is easily tipped. Use extreme caution when handling.
o Prior to installation of any equipment, check the theoretical vertical
centre of gravity of the loaded Rack, ensuring it is equal to, or less
than 1020mm from the floor.
o If the vertical centre of gravity of the loaded Rack is greater than
1020mm from the floor, the Meta ORV3 Side Stabiliser Kit [7844557]
needs to be assembled onto the rack prior to installation of any
equipment into the rack.
o Ensure equipment is installed in the lowest positions first, ensuring the
stability of the rack is not compromised by equipment loading in the
rack, and/or sliding of equipment from the front of the rack.
