Use as a sleep timer
This function works in conjunction with the Auto
Stop
mechanism
and
is used
when
you
wish
to
listen to the radio, make a recording or play back
a tape while in bed. The time at which the sleep
timer
operates
depends
on
the
length
of the
cassette tape.

A. To go to sleep while listening to the radio
After performing
the operational
steps 1 — 7
in the section 'RADIO
RECEPTION"
foad a
cassette into the cassette holder and press the
PLAY button.
Then, turn the FUNCTION
STAND-BY switch
to the OFF/SLEEP position.
When
the tape reaches
its end, the power is
turned off automatically.
B. To go to sleep while recording from the radio
After performing the operational steps
1 — 7
in the section "RADIO
RECEPTION"
load a
cassette into the cassette holder and press the
REC button.
Then, turn the FUNCTION
STAND-BY
switch
to the OFF/SLEEP position.

(PLAY).
Dann
stellen Sie den FUNCTION
STAND-BY-Schalter
auf OFF/SLEEP.
Wenn
das Bandende
erreicht ist, wird das Gerat auto-
matisch ausgeschaltet.
B. Zum Aufnehmen vom Radio vor dem Einschlafen
Nachdem
Sie die Bedienschritte
1 — 7 (''RADIOEMP-
FANG"') ausgeftihrt haben, legen Sie eine Kassette in den
Kassettenhalter und driicken den Aufnahmeknopf (REC).
Dann
stellen
Sie den FUNCTION
STAND-BY-Schalter
auf OFF/SLEEP.
Wenn das Bandende erreicht ist, wird das Gerat
auto-
matisch ausgeschaltet.

Nachdem
Sie die Bedienschritte fiir die WIEDERGABE
auf Seite 14 durchgefiihrt haben, stellen Sie den FUNC-
TION STAND-BY-Schalter auf OFF/SLEEP.
Wenn
das Bandende
erreicht ist, wird das Gerat auto-
matisch ausgeschaltet.
AUFNAHME
