position:
Allows
adjustment
of
the
recording
level
manually with the REC
LEVEL
control (5).
This
can
be effectively
employed
for live-
recording
or when
recording using a Metal
Tape.
AUTO position:
The
recording level adjustment
is performed
automatically. This is conveniently employed
to obtain quick, optimal recording (radio pro-
gram recording, etc.).
. TAPE select switch (METAL-CrO2-NORMAL)
Select a position for both record and playback
modes
according
to
the tape
to be used.

. LOUDNESS switch
The low and high frequency
ranges at lower
volumes are enhanced with this switch set to
on and the output level control set to a posi-
tion lower than the center (5).
This is employed
to compensate
for human
hearing characteristics since both low and high
frequency
sounds
become
more
difficult to
perceive at lower sound levels. Therefore, this
can be employed at lower output sound levels.

In dieser Stellung wird die Abstimmung

ausgefuhrt.
Diese Betriebsart eignet sich besonders gut
zur
Erzielung
von
schnellen,
optimalen
Aufnahmen
(Radioprogramme, etc.).
. Bandartwahlschalter (TAPE) (METAL-CrO2-NORMAL)
Wahlen Sie eine Einstellung fiir Aufnahme und Wieder-
gabe
aus,
entsprechend
dem
verwendeten
Band.

. Schalter fiir gehérrichtige Lautstarke (LOUDNESS)
Die
Niedrig-
und
Hochfrequenzbereiche
werden
bei
niedrigen Lautstarken erhdht, wenn dieser Schalter auf
ON
gestellt
ist und
der
Ausgangspegel-Regler
sich
unterhalb der Mitte befindet (5).
Diese Einstellung wird zum Ausgleich der menschlichen
Horeigenschaften
verwendet,
da
hoch-
und_nieder-
frequente Tdne
bei niedrigen Tonpegein schwerer zu
horen
sind.
Deshalb
kann
diese
Einstellung
bei
niedrigen Ausgangs-Tonpegeln benutzt werden.

qui percoit
ces
fréquences

maniére atténuée lorsque le niveau sonore est bas. On

sonore n'est pas trés élevé.
