8 RCS WEB
8.1 INTRODUCTION
RCS Web software takes the idea to simplify CSNET WEB, and
use only the remote controller created for the Building Layout.
The main idea is install that software on the computers of users
who need to manage all the CSNET WEB options. They will have
only the same access that using the remote controller but from
their computer.
N O T E
• It is available only for package.
• User will manage with interface only the indoor units that Ins-
taller allows him to manage.
RCS Web interface looks like a virtual remote controller that
wants to simplify and improve the user experience controlling the
units.
8.2 LOCAL SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION
After start the software it will appear the main window. There,
due to configure the software it must to be selected the configure
button.
To configure the installation will be needed the installer password,
by default "Installer" as the username password.
N O T E
If installer set to white text its username and password it will be
not asked.
Installer configurations allows to configure the following items:
•
Installation: set HARCS where RCS Web will connect.
•
Unit filter: configure units that user could see.
•
User: set username, password and privileges of the user.
•
Proxy: configure proxy data if needed.
•
Installer password: change the password to connect to the
configuration
