f) Binding the Transmitter with Quadrocopter

The transmitter uses a 2.4 GHz transmission frequency and achieves a transmission range of up to approx.
100 metres, depending on the environment and ambient conditions. The quadrocopter is designed with a Power-On
safety feature that ensures that it's motor will not start unless it detects a suitable control signal when the LiPo battery
is connected.
• Connect your quadrocopter's battery, having first checked that it is correctly charged.
• Place your quadrocopter on a flat surface.
• Make sure the left throttle control stick (11) is in the full down position.
• Press down the photo button (3) and set the ON/OFF switch (6) to position ON. See Fig. 13.
• The transmitter status LED (15) will blink red. Do not move any other stick or trim before the transmitter and
quadrocopter finish pairing, otherwise the quadrocopter will drift. The status LED will turn green after pairing is
successfully completed.

g) Horizontal calibration

• A horizontal calibration is necessary if the quadrocopter drifts during
flight. Stop the motors and lay the quadrocopter on a level surface
for calibration.
• Hold the left throttle/rudder control stick (11) to the full down position
and then move it to the lower right position.
• Quickly move the right elevator/aileron control stick to the left and
right repeatedly until the two headlights blink, indicating successful
calibration. See Fig. 14.
• This calibration will reduce excessive drifting when doing level yaw
turns.
Always stop the motors and lay the quadrocopter on a level surface before calibration.
