2.4 Condensate drain hose

Visual inspection:
 Has it been securely fitted to the condensate tray drain?
Has the hose been routed so that it descends?

There must be no kinks in the hose!

 Has unpressurised drainage been ensured?
Can the liquid drip freely?

 Is the hose damaged?
Hose routed correctly

NOTE
If installed above a gravel bed, the end of the condensate hose
where the liquid drips out must be laid in the gravel bed down

to the frost line . The depth can vary according to the
climatic region. The regulations of the countries in question
must be observed.

NOTE
The siphon must have a minimum sealing liquid level of
300 mm. The condensate drain must be checked to ensure
that it is working correctly and has no leaks.

NOTE
If it is a free-standing installation, a ground clearance of at
least 40 cm must be ensured between the end of the
condensate hose where the liquid drips out and the ground.
