Maintenance / repair
General
The domestic hot water heat pump is extremely low mainte-
nance. Furthermore, a one-off visual inspection for possible
leaks in the water system and clogging of the condensate drain
must be carried out a few days after commissioning.
The refrigeration circuit of the heat pump does not require main-
tenance.
Only use a damp cloth with a little soap solution to clean the do-
mestic hot water heat pump.
ATTENTION!
Disconnect the power supply before opening the device; possible fan
coasting must be considered!
ATTENTION!
Risk of injury caused by sharp-edged fins. Fins must not be deformed or
damaged!
ATTENTION!
The terminal X8 (photovoltaic) can also be energized when the heat pump
is in switched-off state
8.1 Water circuit / condensate
drain
The water circuit check is limited to filters that may have been in-
stalled on site and possible leakages. Dirty water filters should be
cleaned and, if necessary, replaced. The seal valve in the end of
the condensate hose must only be checked for contamination,
and cleaned if necessary.
8.2 Filter maintenance
The device does not contain an air filter. Any air filters installed in
the system require regular maintenance to ensure hygienic, fault-
free and efficient system operation. The filter signal acts as a re-
minder for the maintenance.
The following maintenance intervals are recommended:
Replace 4 weeks after first startup.
Soiling from building dust, no filter signal.
Check after 6 months at the latest.
For minor soiling, tap out the filter and clean with a vacuum
cleaner (do not wash!), replace if necessary.
Replace at least once a year.
Dispose of used filters as general household waste.
Reset: Once the maintenance is complete, confirm the message
and restart the counter for the time interval. Select point 11.4 in
the user menu and confirm the 'on' setting with OK. The display
jumps back to 'off'.
NOTE
The filter maintenance work carried out must be logged (see attachment
Operating instructions).

8.3 Cleaning air inlets and outlets
Supply air and exhaust air valves or ventilation grilles and any fil-
ters installed in them must be cleaned regularly.
For information on cleaning and filter change, ask your installer.
NOTE
The setting of the valves must not be changed!
Do not use cleaning agents containing sand, soda, acid or chloride, as
these can damage the surfaces.
8.4 Additional maintenance
measures
Regular maintenance on the ventilation system in a cycle of one
to two years is necessary for hygiene reasons and to ensure
fault-free and energy efficient operation.
The maintenance work includes:
Checking and cleaning the condensate drain
Checking and cleaning other system components
(e.g. heat exchanger, outside air inlet and extract air outlet)
ATTENTION!
Additional maintenance measures must be carried out by a qualified
technician. It is advisable to sign a maintenance contract with your
installer.
