1. General

1.1 Disposal

Dispose of packaging materials at the appropriate
collection points for recycling.
This porduct is subject to European guidelines 2 /96/EG (WEEE).
Old electrical and electronic devices, including-cables and accessories or batteries must
be disposed of separate to household waste.
- Please use the return and collection systems in place for disposal in your area.
- Damage to the environment and hazards to personal health are prevented by properly
disposing of this product.
AdBlue is not classified as a hazardous substance and is assigned to the lowest water
hazard category 1.
Use a universal binder to absorb any AdBlue liberated. Dispose of universal binders
and components which have been in contact with AdBlue (e.g. filters) in line with local
regulations.
Dispose of pure, liquid AdBlue in line with the local regulations.
In countries other than Germany, attention is to be paid to the appropriate local
regulations.

1.2 Safety instructions

Read the Denoxtronic safety and operating instructions in full before starting work.
Pay attention to the applicable accident prevention regulations.
The following safety instructions do not claim to be exhaustive and only relate to work
performed directly on the vehicle.
Heed all the vehicle manufacturer's specifications.
Make sure that systems and devices are only used for their intended purpose.
It is assumed that the personnel working on the vehicle/system will be appropriately
qualified and carry out the work conscientiously and in the proper manner.
Before starting repair and maintenance work, switch off the engine and secure the
vehicle to prevent unauthorized use.
Take care when running the engine.
The exhaust gases are highly toxic.
Moving parts can cause extremely serious injuries.
